Kott Software developed an Electronic Proof of Delivery system called EPOD. The
software solution enables warehouse the drivers to get a list of manifest for the
day’s deliveries, the delivery address, approximate delivery times, item and quantities
to be delivered with a final signature capture from the end customer. The solutions
work on all android devices with version 2.2 upwards. The target hardware utilized
is HTC Desire and HTC Flyer. The solution is tested on Samsung Galaxy Tab, Samsung
SII and Sony Experia.
Technical Environment:
The application was developed using Eclipse, Java, Android 2.2, AVT, SQLITE, Web services, XML.
POS Terminal Development
Kott Software developed loyalty application on POS terminal for a large client in
Europe. The Retail loyalty solution consisted on Open loop giftcard, Closed loop
gift card, Prepaid cards, etc. The solution offered NFC (Near Field Communication)
/ Contactless loyalty solution. A terminal estate management solutions that enables
to manage POS terminal on remote locations was developed to reduce cost of end customer
support. This system was web based, ustilised socket programming and was able to
make updated software releases remotely to the POS terminals.
