Global Business Link Management System
A B2B Trade tool comprising of a powerful search engine and listings developed for a leading US trade organization for their global e-business portal. The site serves as a directory for trade related links and business exchanges and enables the user to search the sites directory in addition to full scale web crawling. Companies can also add, use & maintain their own links. The Application Server has been hosted at Sterling, Virginia.

System was implemented on SQL Server 7.0 databases running on Windows 2000 with IIS 4.0 as web server. Programming Language used were ASP/VI/VB/VBScript/JavaScript/HTML/COM components.

The tool used stored procedures on Server side scripting and Browser form validation.
 
Denied Parties Screening Engine
Developed for a leading US trade organization this tool searches individuals and entities that have been denied the privileges of engaging in international business transactions by the US Government. It searches a unified database containing the names, addresses and sanctioned terms for each of the persons, companies and foreign government entities subject to trade restrictions promulgated by the various departments of the US Government. Developed as a product, this tool is an exact and easy to use search facility that allows users to document their effort in looking up trading partners

The system was implemented on SQL Server 7.0 databases running on Windows 2000 4.0 with IIS 4.0 as Web Server.

The coding for data access and the search was done in Visual Basic 6.0. Design & construction of the data import & upsizing application along with its GUI was done in Java.
 
Trade Calendar
This tool performs the functions of a calendar related to major trade events in the world. Users can track listed major events in any city or in any organization across the globe. Registered users have the option of listing their events under various categories. This project was undertaken for a major US B2X Trade Portal.
