Kott Software is a part of the Kottukapally Group of companies established in 1940's
with activities in Rubber Plantations, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Confectionery,
Jewellry and Information Technology. Late Mr.George Thomas Kottukapally, a well-known
Member of Indian Parliament, UN representative, businessman, philanthropist and
social worker founded the Group. He was instrumental in floating one of the first
joint stock companies in Rubber Plantation sector and the group continues to hold
the first rubber plantation in India, which was established in 1901.The rubber processed
at its Teekoy Rubber factory is well known for its quality throughout the industry.
The group is widely recognized in the business circle for its integrity and ethical
business practices.
The group made its foray into Information Technology in 1993, when Mr. Deepak Mathew,
CEO, Kott Consultancy Services tied-up with Tata Unisys Limited (collaboration
between Tata group, India and Unisys Corp., USA) to introduce and offer its software
training and education in the state of Kerala, India. This division grew as a quality
provider in software education and training and trained over 350 professionals annually.
In 1997, Kott Software was started by the group to provide quality software solutions
to the domestic and global markets with a key focus on offshore delivery based model.
The company has since then being growing rapidly and establishing milestones in
terms of revenue, people, process knowledge and projects delivered. Currently, the
group has expanded operations to North America and Europe and provides software
solutions to global majors.
